“MOVIDA CORONA 2012” COMPETITION

WHAT IS MOVIDA CORONA?
The aforementioned competition is divided into three phases:
Annex 1, attached, is an spreadsheet listing the participating countries (updates of which can be consulted in www.movidacorona.com).
The aforementioned competition will be governed by the following
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Prior to the start of the competition and in order to take part, interested parties must register their entry via the website www.movidacorona.com and accept the terms and conditions and legal requirements relating to MOVIDA CORONA 2012. The website and GMODELO´s Facebook application (www.facebook/coronaextraeurope) will be the only official and valid means of registering for the competition and participants will be required to formally provide the following personal details by completing the registration form: name, email address, password, name and surname, passport number, date of birth, country of residence and contact telephone number.
Number 1
MOVIDA CORONA 2012 is a competition for House Music DJs. DJs of other styles of music will not be allowed to take part in the competition because MOVIDA CORONA only promotes DJs that mix this style of music.
MOVIDA CORONA is a competition for individuals and duos will not be admitted.
Winners of past MOVIDA CORONA Grand Finals will not be allowed to enter again.
Once the registration period ends, new applications for the competition will not be accepted.
Number 2
All Participants must be at least 18 years of age or over (unless the minimum legal age for the consumption of alcohol in any participating country is different, in which case Participants will have to have reached at least the minimum legal age stipulated in that country and will be subject to the local laws) given that this competition is sponsored by a premium brand of beer.
Number 3
During the competition, the Participant agrees to promote CORONA EXTRA (CORONA LIGHT, CORONA BEER in Turkey or CORONITA BEER in Spain) at any hypothetical press event or interview in accordance with the reasonable instructions given by the promoter GMODELO and the Participant agrees to act accordingly.
Number 4
The Participant agrees that during this competition GMODELO will hold the exclusive worldwide rights, authorization and permission to use the names, nicknames, similarities, videos, photographs, clips, performances or other reproductions of the Participant for the purpose of the competition and in order to promote the competition, MOVIDA CORONA, CORONA EXTRA, CORONITA BEER, CORONA LIGHT AND CORONA BEER.
Therefore, all the Intellectual Property rights, options and interests related to the Participant´s participation in MOVIDA CORONA will be relinquished to GMODELO for their exclusive use. This will be done according to the law and/or the moral rights of the author. This consent covers all of the exploitation rights that include, but are not limited to, the public broadcast, distribution and transformation of the materials.
Participants will not receive any kind of remuneration or fee in return for this consent or authorisation.
The Participant ensures that the Soundcloud tracks used to participate in this competition were made by him/her without any third party collaboration that may affect the usage rights consent of these tracks which belong to GMODELO.
GMODELO ensures that the name, photos, videos and reputation of the Participant will not be used in any promotion or advertising activity that could be deemed harmful or offensive.
Number 5
All Participants in MOVIDA CORONA 2012 agree and accept to take part in any promotion and/or International production (film, photography, music) organized by GMODELO, Pachá, agencies collaborating with GMODELO, JWT or El Señor Goldwind.
All reasonable expenses relating to the above-mentioned activities, including travel and accommodation expenses will be agreed beforehand with each Participant.
Number 6
The technical rider will be supplied by the venue.
The use of computers and laptops is forbidden.
Number 7
All sessions must be live; total or partially recorded sessions will not be admitted.
Number 8
The organization accepts no responsibility for the loss of or damage to personal equipment.
Number 9
The time allocated to each DJ in the National finals is 30 minutes.
Number 10
The semifinals will be divided into 2 phases:
Morning (quarter finals):
The time allocated to each DJ in the first phase of the semifinals will be 10 minutes.
Afternoon (semifinals):
The time allocated to each DJ in the second phase of the semifinals will be 15 minutes.
Grand Finale:
The time allocated to each DJ in the Grand Finale will be 30 minutes.
Number 11
There will be 4 Participants in each of the National Finals, 10 finalists in the Semifinals and 3 finalists in the Grand Finale.
Number 12
Only one Participant per country will be selected to take part in the Semifinals of the Grand Finale.
Number 13
The three Grand Finale finalists will be selected during a pre-selection session of house music lasting 10 minutes per Participant, Phase 1 of the Semifinals (quarter finals). From this first phase, 10 Participants will be selected to go through to Phase 2 of the Semifinals from where the 3 finalists for the Grand Finale will be selected.
Number 14
Each Participant will be judged on three key categories: music selection, image/response from the audience, and technique.
Number 15
The judges´ decision is final and no discussion or correspondence will be entered into.

Number 16
The winner of each National Final will be announced before the party ends.
Number 17
The winners of the National Final will each win a trip to the Grand Finale and will be able take their manager, the venue owner or a companion of their choice with them. The prize includes flights, hotel accommodation and formal meals.
Hotel reservations are not transferable and may only be used by the winners.
The hotel may ask for proof of identification and may also request a personal credit/debit card to cover personal extra costs relating to the hotel room.

Number 19
DJs will also be able to take part in MOVIDA CORONA 2012 without having to go through the preliminary rounds by enrolling in The Online Chance which will enable them to reach the quarterfinals directly via the website www.movidacorona.com. DJs will be able to earn votes from visitors to the website and the DJ that receives the most online votes will go will automatically go through to Phase 1 of the semifinals (quarter finals). The prize will be the same as the one for the National finals, which is a trip to the Grand Finale with a companion including flights, hotel and formal meals.
DJs can load up to three sessions of Soundtrack in their www.movidacorona.com profile and the DJ selected will be the one who receives the most votes.
Website visitors will only be able to vote for their favourite DJ once per day. This will be monitored by GMODELO using cookies (as per the terms and conditions of the website or the user´s IP address).
DJs who have previously entered a MOVIDA CORONA event and have been eliminated from the Competition may take part again in the same via The Online Chance.
If the winner of The Online Chance also happens to be the winner of the country event and therefore a semifinalist, GMODELO will send take the next DJ with the most votes from this country and the National competition.
The winner of The Online Chance will be chosen on the following day: 23.10.2012.
The Promoter will keep all Participants informed of any unusual circumstances relating to this competition or the termination of this competition via the website www.movidacorona.com.
Number 20
Fans of the Facebook page (www.facebook/coronaextraeurope) may also take part in the MOVIDA CORONA 2012 easypromo, via the application which shall be created in the aforementioned social network .
These Participants must provide all the information requested by the application. In addition, they will also be required to answer a question posted in this application in an original way.
A jury made up of representatives from GMODELO and JWT, its advertising agency, will select the answer they deem to be the most original and the winner will receive the prize detailed in clause Number 17, which consists in a trip to the Grand Finale for two people, including flights, hotel accommodation and breakfast. The prize is not transferrable and may only be claimed by the winner and his/her companion.
The hotel may need to see some form of proof of identification (Passport/ID card) and may request a personal credit/debit card to cover any personal additional expenses associated with the use of the hotel room.
The winner will be notified by GMODELO via the application on the Facebook social network ( www.facebook/coronaextraeurope).
In the event GMODELO is not able to contact the winner or he/she rejects the prize or any other circumstance that could impede the correct notification of the prize, the jury may decide to select another winner from the runners-up.
Number 21
The prize for the winner of the Grand Finale will include a session as a DJ at Pachá Ibiza (The Funky Room), to DJ on the MOVIDA CORONA 2013 Tour and in the co-production of 3 CDs by Pachá Recordings.
Second and third place runners up be taken to the Miami Ultra Music Festival in 2013 and includes flights, accommodation and travel expenses.
If necessary, GMODELO reserves the right to change the prizes relating to this competition for other similar prizes.
The aim of MOVIDA CORONA is to help launch the professional career of the winning DJ. In view of this and with this competition, GMODELO undertakes to support the winners of the Grand Finale (1st, 2nd and 3rd) and to help them perform in the best House Clubs in Europe.
Number 22
The winner and second and third runners up of the MOVIDA CORONA competition agree to take part in five sessions during the course of one year as official MOVIDA CORONA DJs. The brand has the final word over the type of event.
Each finalist hereby agrees not to accept payment or any fee for taking part in these sessions.
Number 23
The Participants may not drink alcohol of any other brand other than CORONITA BEER OR CORONA EXTRA during the events organized by GMODELO.
In addition, the Participants must refrain from publishing photographs, videos, texts etc. in social media sites of drinks, logos, t-shirts, gadgets etc. of other alcoholic drinks and competitors of the aforementioned brands.
Number 24
All Participants are obliged to protect the corporate image of CORONA EXTRA, CORONITA BEER, CORONA LIGHT OR CORONA BEER and should never treat the products or the image of CORONA EXTRA, CORONITA BEER, CORONA LIGHT OR CORONA BEER with disrespect at any time.
The organization reserves the right to disqualify any DJ for the following reasons:
Number 25
The dates of all the events are subject to change. GMODELO may not be held responsible for these changes.
All Participants agree to attend all the MOVIDA CORONA events, Regional finals and/or National finals. Participants will be disqualified if they fail to attend any of the events, subject to local rules.
If, for any reason, the winner is not able to attend the next round of the classification phases, GMODELO reserves the right to offer the 2nd or 3rd runners up the chance of taking the winner´s place.
In addition, all Participants must wear the MOVIDA CORONA t-shirt supplied by GMODELO during the National finals, the quarterfinals, semifinals and the Grand Final.
Number 26
In the event GMODELO or any other entity related professionally to this competition should detect any kind of anomaly or suspect a DJ of hindering the natural course of the competition, illegally altering a registration or participation or of using or technologically altering materials belonging to others in order to forge their participation, the registration of the DJ in question will be eliminated from the competition. In this respect, it is therefore important to add that GMODELO has incorporated the necessary technology to detect any possible act of fraud or attempt to alter a registration with the objective of obtaining a prize illicitly. Therefore, GMODELO reserves the right to eliminate any registration made by a Participant that they suspect to be acting suspiciously as per the above.
Number 27
Taking into account that GMODELO is a Spanish registered company and as such will be responsible for the corresponding tax payments or tax withholdings on the prizes awarded on this Competition.
Number 28
The social media site Facebook does not sponsor, endorse or manage in any way GMODELO´s competition neither is it associated with it and therefore the Participants have no links with said site.
GMODELO will inform Participants of any unforeseen events or circumstances relating to this competition via the website www.movidacorona.com.
Number 29
In compliance with the Personal Data Protection Law, Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December, and the Law 34/2002 dated 11 July, relating to information society Services and electronic commerce, the voluntary inclusion of personal data (including email address) in order to take part in this competition represents the consent of the participating user and therefore enables GMODELO to send directly, or indirectly via other companies involved in the management or handling of the data (in charge of data processing) to process and automate the data for publicity purposes or commercial prospecting. This data may also be included in an automated file which will be used to communicate with the Participant in the future, who has agreed to allow the use of this medium to receive commercial messages from the aforementioned company relating to products and services from the alcoholic beverages sector as well as other commercial messages relating to their participation in the competition. The participating user authorizes GMODELO to share their personal data with third party companies working in collaboration with GMODELO to manage, distribute and organize the prizes relating to this competition.
The participating user has the right to access this file in order to oppose, modify, correct or cancel, partially or totally, its contents by sending a written request via email to lopd@gmodeloeuropa.com or by post to GMODELO EUROPA, S.A.U. (C/ Pradillo nº 5, Bajo Exterior, 28002-Madrid).
Number 30
These General Terms & Conditions are governed and interpreted by Spanish law and the Parties agree to renounce any provision or rule that allows them to choose another jurisdiction or claim a legal conflict (with Spanish, foreign or International law) that could result in the application of a jurisdiction other than the one in Spain.
In the event of disagreement derived from this contract, relating to its validity, interpretation, compliance, effectiveness or termination, the Parties will be subject to the Spanish law of the courts and tribunals in Madrid, Spain.
All Participants are responsible for ensuring that their participation and/or acceptance of a prize(s) does not contravene the law or local rules of their country of residence. This competition will not be valid in those countries where the law restricts or forbids it.
* Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania will select only one participant to represent them at the Grand Finale.
**Luxemburg and Belgium will select only one participant to represent them at the Grand Finale.
***Kosovo, Montenegro, Macedonia and Albania will select only one participant to represent them at the Grand Final.
**** In the event one of the members of the jury becomes unavailable, the GMODELO/Corona extra or local Coronita Beer team will appoint a substitute.
