How badly do you want to be your new you?
Solo DJ, Back-to-Back, Vocalist… how will you become a famous artist in the International house music scene?
DJ Contest: This year you can participate as a solo DJ or Back-to-Back. Just create your profile and upload your session to Soundcloud. The winners of each National Final will represent their country in the International Grand Finale.
And there is one more chance. The Movida Corona Jury will select one DJ amongst the 10 most voted DJs on the website to go straight to the Quarter Finals of the International Grand Finale, taking place at Pacha Ibiza, Spain.
Vocalists: To take part as a vocalist, download the audio base when creating your profile, make your own version and upload it to Soundcloud. From the 20 most voted vocalists on our website, the Jury will select three finalists to perform at the International Grand Finale of Movida Corona, Ibiza.
Prizes
The winner of each National Final in the DJ competition will travel with a companion to the Grand Finale of Movida Corona, taking place at Pacha Ibiza, Spain, on October 5th.
If you win the Grand Finale in the DJ Category, you will become the official DJ for the Movida Corona 2014 Corona Tour. Additionally, you will play four live sessions at Pacha Ibiza and you will participate in the compilation of three albums with Pacha Recordings.
The two runners-up in the DJ competition will win a trip to Miami where they will play at the Miami Ultra Music Festival.
The winner in the Vocalists Category will sign a contract with Pacha Recordings to collaborate in the recording of one track. Additionally, the winning vocalist will play four live sessions at the Pacha Ibiza during 2014 season.
The Contest Rounds
Qualifying Rounds
Sign up online. Each local Movida Corona Jury will listen to your Soundcloud session to select the best DJs to battle in the Qualifying Rounds. The 4 best DJs will make it to the National Final. While you can upload up to three tracks, the judges will only listen to your first one, so make it your best!
National Finals
The Top 4 DJs in each country will have the opportunity to show off their talent in front of a professional Jury.
International Grand Finale
The winners of each National Final will travel to Ibiza and compete in the Movida Corona Grand Finale, which this year will take place at Pacha Ibiza along with the 2013 Pacha Summer Closing Party.
Online chance
If you are not selected for the National Final not everything is lost! Get your friends to vote for you online. The more votes you get the more opportunities: Out of the top ten most voted DJs, one will be chosen by the Movida Corona Jury to go straight to the Quarter Finals of the Movida Corona Grand Finale in Ibiza.
Vocalists
This year, we are also searching for the hottest vocal talent to partner up with the winning DJ. Sign up online and show us your talent by creating your own version of the tracks supplied by Movida Corona and Pacha Recordings. You can choose between three tracks using just one, or a mix of two or all three. From the 20 most voted vocalists on our website, our Jury will select three finalists who will perform at the Grand Finale of Movida Corona.
